The Woman
Martina Leibl, Founder, Creator and Editor of www.martinaleibl.com, is a driven entrepreneur and real brand enthusiast. Throughout her career she has hold managerial responsibilities in different business branches at the leading global players in the luxury and lifestyle universe. In international business development projects she cooperates as a strategic and operational partner with well-known family-owned luxury houses as well as industrial company groups.
Austrian-born, Martina studied business administration and economy in Klagenfurt and Vienna and started her working career in the beauty business in 1995 at L’Oréal Austria as Product Manager Vichy, then Laboratoires Garnier and Maybelline. In 2000 she moved to Germany and joined Beiersdorf as Marketing Manager Juvena/La Prairie/ Boucheron and was appointed to member of the Management Board.
Martina changed to LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) Germany in 2002 where she took over the position Marketing Manager Givenchy Parfums. In 2004 Martina was promoted to Brand General Manager of Givenchy Parfums and Cosmetics Germany. In this overall responsibility she established a highly selectively distributed fragrance business and successfully launched as a branch-wide awarded pilot the house’s beauty line Givenchy LeMakeup.
In 2008 Martina was appointed Country General Manager Gucci Group Watches and Jewelry for Germany and Austria, combining her competence in brand management and international sales gained from the field of parfums and beauty with the business of jewelry and watches. In her general responsibility for Gucci, part of the global luxury group Kering, she managed the launch of a new generation of Gucci watches as well as led the successful relaunch of the house’s jewelry line.

Martina has founded her own business as International Project Contractor and Business Consultant in 2011 and holds engagements for the fashion, the jewelry, the beauty and the interior industry as well as for service companies amongst others related to them. Hired by the Trussardi Group and headquartered in Milan, Martina relaunched the house’s fashion business within the DACH and CEE region. Hired by Bergère de France, a French company in the field of yarns, she was responsible for its distribution development in the DACH markets. Also engaged for start-up businesses Martina executed company and product branding, marketing program and digital communication design for a new interior company and run the development of a digital distribution and communication business model for an upcoming luxury knitwear brand.
