50s muse
An already forever-shape when it comes to eyewear is the classic cat-eye shape. Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta or Valentino this year enhance that look by injecting a contemporary twist to the retro shape.
And me?
I choose a version from Miu Miu, a combination of butterfly and cat-eye in soft ice colors, to embrace my inner 50s muse.
XXL cool
Another seasonal ode to the 70s is to go big with XXL square lenses as seen at the fashion shows spring/summer 2021 at Fendi, Céline or Prada.
My absolute shooting star: the mega version of the designer Victoria Beckham, investing in a style with a luxurious neutral tone like a rich black for an elevated feel. Drama, baby!
