This World’s Poetry

Rememberably in June 2009 with the documentary film HOME it was the first time I was overwhelmingly and comprehensivly confronted with a portrayal of life on earth and of the threat to nature and to our ecosystem and its balance we humans pose to.

The movie was directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand and produced among others by Luc Besson. Praised for its visuals mainly based on the production technique of aerial views, HOME received a huge response having been simultaneously released on YouTube, via network channels and in cinemas all over the globe. It was sponsored by the luxury group Kering, the parent company of Gucci and the house I worked for that time. This film’s main intention was to invite and to inspire to thoughtful thinking and a careful discussion about our heavily changing environment, thus encouraging action.

I have a passion for beauty. In nature. Throughout the year, at all seasons, it fascinates me with its poetry, in large as in small. And in each of these moments as the following I am aware that we are challenged to protect this precious kind of romance.

A winter landscape at a mountain lake

A spring walk in an English parc

Summer flora and fauna en miniature

An autumnal sunset on the adriatic sea
