Thinking sustainability when doing home staging?
With some interior highlights of shabby chic – furnishings with a pleasingly old appearance, vintage pieces with slight signs of usage – I like to lend my home a very individual atmosphere: nostalgic, with a touch of elegance, sophisticated.
To create this shabby chicness consider refurbishing, restoring and redesigning modern or older fitments you already have.
Smaller pieces I work on by my own. In this case I preferably paint with antique-white colors on wood, metal, ceramic and glass.
Paint things partly, with thicker and thinner brush strokes …
Or undercoat them first with a darker color and then scrape particular spots …
