Ladies, we can’t deny it that diamonds are still best friends and companions to us. So let me introduce to you my actual hit list.
My wishlist’s number 1
The famous German jewelry house Wempe recently created the incredibly fascinating diamond jewelry line Cube Wempe|Ashoka®, an homage to New York, my favorite city.
The line is inspired by the cubist geometry of the skyline of Manhattan and its sparkling lights at night. Diamonds which huddle together like the skyscrapers of New York, an elegance added by the reluctant cool of white gold.
The Ashoka® diamond cut was patented in 1999 by William Goldberg. This unique cut resembles an emerald cut and brings along five facets more than a classic brilliant.
The ring Cube Wempe|Ashoka®, handcrafted in the Wempe atelier, shows six of these Ashoka® cut diamonds of a total of 2.00 carat. Between the six diamonds sophisticatedly fits in a bright element of white gold which confers the ring its subtle refinement.
The frog prince’s crown
The jewelry workshop Einspieler has specialized in the creation of jewels with precious diamonds, the hardest natural material on earth. It manufactures amazing original pieces in precise manual work.
One of its masterpieces is a ring in rose gold with brilliants of totally 1.50 carat, intensive, sparkling. The beautiful ring is a charming interpretation of one of the most famous old fairy tales of the Grimm brothers, reminding of the crown of the frog prince.
A Gucci’s jewelry watch
In timepiece luxury a Gucci watch is always a style statement. When I joined Gucci 2008 in my country responsibility for Germany and Austria, the Pantheon watch has just been launched, a real twist between cool modernity and shiny elegance.
The case and the bracelet are made of stainless steel, smooth and refined. The rotating bezel can be positioned in 120 different ways, allowing jetsetters to operate on multiple time zones and set time to their own demanding specifications.
My personally most favored piece of the Pantheon’s line features a white mother of pearl dial with ten diamond hour markers, crowned by 50 diamonds (0.71 carat) fixed in to the bezel.
